Comment: I have only had this for just over a year, but it has already woken me up several times in the middle of the night for a tornado warning up to ten minutes before the city's warning sirens went off. While everyone else is scrambling to get to shelter in time, my wife and I are already in a safe place listening to our Midland radio. This is well-built and clearly designed for all kinds of emergencies. I also appreciate all of the features - such as the ability to deactivate audible warnings for certain types of emergencies (like flood warnings if you live on a hill and do not care).
