However, the phone does not always go into sleep mode when placed in the holster, and thus I have had to reprogram some keys a couple times after having the Blackberry in the case. Comment: The holder that came with my BB wasn't holding it anymore. Everytime I turned around, the BB was airborn and fortunately it was still in one piece. One of my co-workers had this case and I ordered it. It is perfect! and very reasonably priced. It's a nice leather, with a tailored stiched look. It had a magnetic flap-over closure, so it's quick and easy to flip out or close. The sides are elastic and clear of the charging connection, so you can charge in the case. The clip rotates, so you can flip it around. The clip hook is sturdy and tight enough, AND, there is a lip on the clip so it stops it from flying off when you clip it to a purse strap. Guys usually wear their phones attached to their belts. Well, I don't wear a belt usually. This clip is tight enough to wear on elastic waste skirts and slacks without a belt. I like to wear my BB clipped to my purse strap on the outside of my purse, and be able to turn it around parallel to the strap. Works perfectly for my BB 8700c and it is no longer airborne.
