Summary: Nice Printer
Comment: After a long line of HP printers, I decided to switch gears this time and settled on the Epson. I only gave it 4 stars because I have not used the scanner yet. I mostly bought this printer because of the individual color ink tanks on it.
I have been happy with the purchase. I print mostly black text, but every once in a while I need a picture printed. I rarely need photo quality, so I cannot say how good this is for that. I print everything on plain paper and have been happy with the turn out.
The only thing that I noticed about this printer compared to the HP is that it just seems a little slow to que up the print job. It just seems to take a few seconds longer than the HP. Not a huge deal and I would still have gotten the printer even knowing that.

Summary: Excellent all around printer!
Comment: It had been 3 years since we had purchased a printer and after much research we bought this one. I was impressed from the minute I put our CF camera card in it and printed pictures on 4X6 photo paper. The photos were outstanding--better than the drugstore photos I printed before. We have had it for 4 months and use it pretty heavily and we are just now getting low on some of the inks-- so it is good with the inks (regardless of what others say). It is a decent scanner (does a good job) and a decent copier (some of the copies are light but that can be changed using the menu--to make them darker). I really love this printer and love being able to print quality photos to send to family.

Comment: I've had this printer only for a couple of weeks, but it's doing everything I ask of it. Printing CD's is easy and accurate. It's an excellent machine, especially for the price.

Comment: So far the only complaint is the noise. This is not a quite printer, from the paper grabber through the maintainanc cycle. Prints very nice. Lack of proper insructions for the use of the DVD & CD printer. Its OK for the price.

Comment: When my old printer died and my sister moved out with my scanner, I found myself in quite the dilemma. Buy two good items, or give an AIO a try. So I went around and checked websites here and there for reviews and suggestions. Needless to say, I read hundreds of things and the more I looked into it, the more I worried that anything I would get would die on me...
Finally decided on the RX595. It had the best reviews so far and aside from the whole ink issue would fit my purpose. Bought it and few days later got it. I installed it in 10 minutes in the middle of the night without issues, setup was that simple. And it worked! No dead-on-arrival machine. This was about two days before I had to leave for vacation. Printed a few things to test it out and was impressed by the quality. And no, it did not wake up the entire house, it's loud but no louder than I expected.
Went on vacation and came back, first thing I did was check the ink levels. Those were exactly as they should be. Have been printing ever since and yet to see anything out of place or badly done. The copier works like a charm and actually frames pages properly. Print out is crisp, machine is stable. I was worried that due to its location printouts would fly out and fall to the ground but so far so good.
Only reason it does not get 5 stars is because it doesn't output double sided pages directly, you have to put them back in to print. But! the driver is smart enough to tell you how to do it, with small diagram of how the paper outputs, how to turn it around and place it back. Having wasted a lot of paper by not knowing how to print on both sides, this was a very nice lil option.
I have a cat who enjoys sleeping on this, so I've kept some of the protective plastic covers on and close the lower paper tray after each use just as a precaution. But really so far no complaints! Should something ever happen, I'll post here. But this printer so far has made my day :)
