Comment: Great product, awesome price & best value. This is my first purchase of a Garmin GPS unit that I have been researching for quite a while. I have no cons on this product since I have not encountered any problems with it. I would recommend this product to anyone that is purchasing a GPS unit. It's the best value for the money and has a lot of features (Bluetooth, sync voice directions to car stereo, sync maps from Windows Maps Live to GPS unit, included FM receiver which is awesome since the FM receiver alone is about $214.27 from Garmin, build in antenna (no flip antenna), great customer service from Garmin and many more features). If you are looking for a GPS unit that is not going to brake your bank, this is the unit you want to get. I would rate this an @+++++ product.

I recently purchased the Garmin 760. I'm a novice using this product. It's very user friendly and so far the results have been great.
I would highly reccomend this product.

Comment: Very pleased with how this gps works. It is nice that it has sound so you don't have to read it and be distracted.
I only wish it came with a good manual. It would make it easier to learn all the functions more readily.
But all in all, I am very pleased with it. It has brought us to our destinations on many occassions without a hitch. Would recommend it to anybody considering buying one.

Comment: the garmin nuvi 760 is a decent gps system...my first one as well. it's sleek and stylish, it comes loaded with up to the minute mapping...it's really helped me get to where i need to go quite easily...and it was priced right fr amazon.com...the only cons i have:
-the battery runs low kind of quickly...if you don't have someone in the car with you and it runs low, you have to pull over to plug the lighter adapter in...
-the dashboard mounting disc doesn't stick well enough to the dash surface...i had to buy special 3M double sided adhesive squares (works great!)
-the nav system sometimes takes you on longer routes (this was evident when i knew where i was going but garmin was telling me to take back roads most of the time vs a major highway...this shouldn't scare you away, it's not all the time...and if you know where you're going, why use the gps, right?!)

Comment: it was given as a Christmas pres to my parents. They really like it except for the static that they are hearing when they drive. They do not like hearing the noise. Want to know if they are doing something wrong. I purchased it for the many features it offered.
Hope they do not return it.
